What does the failure reason tell me?

Each failure is typed precisely — for age: whether you're too young or too old, and by how much; for qualification: which specific requirement is missing; for percentage: what was required vs. what you have; for attempts: how many used vs. the cap. This lets you see exactly what to address rather than just a binary pass/fail.

What if the exam I'm checking doesn't have a gender or attempt restriction?

Leave those fields blank — any check you don't configure is skipped entirely. The engine only runs checks that have active configuration. An exam with no gender restriction and no attempt cap would only run the age and qualification checks.

Can I fail more than one check at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the engine runs all four checks regardless of earlier results and returns all failures together. If you're both overage and missing a qualification, both failures appear in the result, so you can see everything that needs addressing at once.

Can I apply if I'm appearing in my final year but haven't graduated yet?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the exam notification. Some exams (e.g. UPSC CSE Mains) accept 'appearing' candidates who haven't yet received their degree. Others require the degree to be complete as of the cutoff date. The engine checks based on whether you mark the qualification as complete — use the notification's exact requirement to decide.

Where do I find the cutoff date and eligibility requirements to enter?
