What gets checked
The checker validates five technical properties. It does not analyse the content of your photo — only size, format, dimensions, and proportions.
File too largeFile size in KB exceeds the maximum allowedFix: Compress the image using a photo editor or online tool (tinypng, squoosh) or resize the pixel dimensions.
File too smallFile size is below the minimum allowedFix: Use a higher resolution scan or a better camera. Some portals reject very small files to prevent illegibly compressed images.
Invalid formatFile extension is not in the allowed list (e.g. PNG when only JPG is accepted)Fix: Convert your image to the required format using any photo editor, Windows Paint, or an online converter. Renaming the extension alone does not convert the file.
Width or height out of rangePixel dimensions fall outside the min/max pixel constraintsFix: Resize the image in an editor to the required pixel range while maintaining the aspect ratio.
Aspect ratio mismatchWidth-to-height ratio deviates by more than ±5% from the target ratioFix: Crop the image to match the required proportions. A passport-format photo (35mm × 45mm) has a width-to-height ratio of approximately 0.778.

It checks up to five properties of your uploaded document's metadata against the exam's requirements: file size (minimum and maximum in KB), file format (JPG, PNG, PDF, etc.), width in pixels, height in pixels, and aspect ratio. It does not read or analyse the content of the image — only its technical properties.
