Exam Score Calculator
Exam & CareerEnter correct and wrong answers, marks per question, and penalty type to get your exact score.
How exam score is calculated
Every exam score has three components: your raw marks from correct answers, minus the penalty total from wrong answers. Unattempted questions contribute nothing either way.
Example — 100 Questions, ⅓ Negative Marking
Frequently Asked Questions
Score = (Correct × Marks per Question) − (Wrong × Penalty per Wrong). The penalty per wrong depends on the mode: fraction (e.g. ⅓ × marks), percentage (e.g. 25% × marks), or a fixed constant. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
