Government Form Photo & Signature Tool
Tools & UtilitiesResize, crop and compress photos and signatures to exact application requirements — right in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
1Upload→2Describe→3Process→4Download
Your images stay on your device — no upload, no server, complete privacy.
How the tool processes your image
When you click Process Image, the tool performs three steps entirely inside your browser — no file ever leaves your device:
- Resize. Your image is drawn onto an HTML Canvas at the target pixel dimensions — for example, 276 × 354 px for a standard 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo at 200 DPI.
- Compress. The canvas is exported as JPEG at quality 92, then the tool checks the file size. If the file exceeds your target (e.g. 50 KB), it reduces the JPEG quality in steps until the limit is met or the minimum quality floor is reached.
- Verify. The result panel shows the exact output dimensions and file size, with a checkmark confirming each requirement is satisfied before you download.
PNG and WebP uploads are handled correctly — a white background is applied before JPEG conversion so that transparent areas do not become black.
