Annual cost uses 365 days — not monthly × 12

The annual figure is daily kWh × 365, not monthly kWh × 12. At 30 days per month, monthly × 12 gives 360 days — 5 days short of a full year. For this AC running at ₹8/unit, that 5-day gap equals 5 × 12 × ₹8 = ₹480. The calculator uses 365 to correctly represent a full calendar year, regardless of your days-per-month setting.
