Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Switch scales if your institution differs. A grade like “B1” only exists on the 10-point scale — switching scales clears grades that no longer apply, so you never get a silently wrong average.
• A subject needs both a grade and credits to count. Leaving either blank means that row is skipped entirely, not treated as a zero.
