Form Filling Muhurat
MuhuratFind the most auspicious time window to fill and submit government, exam, or bank forms — based on Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vara.
How this works
A Muhurat is an auspicious time window determined by the simultaneous quality of five Panchang elements: Tithi (lunar day), Vara (weekday), Nakshatra (lunar mansion), Yoga (luni-solar combination), and Karana (half-Tithi).
This calculator identifies time slots in the day that avoid inauspicious periods — Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, and Gulika Kaal — and ranks the remaining windows by how many auspicious Panchang factors are active simultaneously.
The slot score is a weighted sum of active auspicious factors, normalised to [0, 1]. Higher-scored slots are shown first. The Abhijit Muhurat window (roughly 11:54 AM – 12:18 PM) is a midday exception that overrides some otherwise-blocked periods.
Results shown are illustrative
The Muhurat results currently shown on CalcInfinity are illustrative demo data. They are not calculated from a live Panchang or astronomical calculation system and should not be treated as an authoritative auspicious date or time.
Form filling Muhurat — what Jyotisha tradition considers
Form filling is a lighter occasion in Muhurat Jyotisha compared to events like marriage or Griha Pravesh. The primary focus is on avoiding inauspicious daily periods rather than an exhaustive Panchang analysis.
What the calculator currently checks
The demo rule applied to Form Filling is the same illustrative rule used for all event types. Event-specific rules will be applied when Phase 2 Panchang integration is complete.
